Disappointed in December?

Question

Is anyone disappointed that their baby's birthday will fall in December? My husband and I have been trying since August after a mc, and actually were avoiding this month because we didn't really want our baby to get a blended birthday with the Xmas holidays... I'm also nervous that the baby will be born on Xmas eve/day. Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy to have this baby and can't wait! ...but I feel bad for doing this to him/her. :/ Anyone have positive things to say about December birthdays?

My husband's birthday is December 19th, our sons birthday is December 9th and this one is due December 15th! Mine is January 29th! It works out fine in december. Best thing is there are so many Christmas deals on things it makes it easier to buy things for birthday! Lol.

I'm just so thankful I'm one of the lucky ones to get pregnant tbh. Plus December is summer where we are 😊

My oldest was born the 16th and I have 2 nieces on the 14th and 23rd and a nephew on the 13th! It gets a little hectic and expensive being close to Christmas but I just make sure to keep them separate from each other. The only thing my daughter hates is it is too cold to do anything outside. Due with baby #4 either late November early December.

I felt the same way and this time we weren't actively trying (I also have a Dec bday), but honestly planning a pregnancy can be so hard and draining and I am just happy to be able to welcome another baby into our family

My birthday is December 22... I always said I would swear off March for ttc because I didn't want my child to go thru what I do with my bday being around the holidays.. I've always hated it. But in March I had a mc at 5w3d and we started trying asap. I just found out I'm pregnant again and I'm so happy. I could careless now that it's going to be a Christmas baby.. I'm just so thankful for the chance of being pregnant again! If anything, my birthday will mean more to me now!

Congrats! 💕 I just found out i was expecting yesterday and When all calculated it , says my due date would be around December 24th.  I am very excited though regardless.

I'm oddly really excited! I absolutely love that time of year and the idea of cookie decorating parties and the joy of the holiday will just add to the fun. I think that as long as you make an effort to make their day special, your LO will be just fine;). And there is always the option of celebrating their half birthday in the summer and making that a special occasion! Congrats!!❤️

I said exactly same we been trying since August too and after trying since then I kind of gave up trying and look here I am. I wanted a summer baby as my sons birthday is in March but I'm over the moon to be pregnant as I thought it was never going to happen. X

I always said I would NEVER have a baby in December and people who do are crazy... Welp here we are lol... Definitely a little surprise but as it sinks in getting more and more excited to be home during the holidays with my family rather then work! :-)
