Confused.

Last month my period was very painful but short, all through until this period I've been feeling down, getting upset over nothing basically, anyway this period was a week late and I only had cramps for about half hour and it's super light. Normally I have severe cramps for 2-4 days and really heavy that I can't leave the house, my normal period lasts 7-8 days. it was blood for two days and brown until today, I've been on for 4 days and I've never had this before. Do I test incase? I'd appriciate a response as I have no one else to talk to. If you are confused by the way I've wrote this as it does look kinda confusing ask any questions
