Affection

Okay so I'm a very affectionate person. I love giving and taking compliments, hugs, kisses, cuddling. It all makes me so happy. My boyfriend however is the complete opposite. He would much rather just hang out, joke around, play ps4, and watch tv. He has days where he is all over me. And we usually have sex like every other day. But most of the time he just doesn't want all the affection I give. And doesn't really give me too much. It's not too big of a deal because I understand some days you just don't wanna be crowded. He says he just loves hanging out with me. Just being around me makes him happy so he doesn't need all the affection. But sometimes it's really frustrating cause dammit I want love. How can I deal with this without upsetting him or seeming desperate for attention from him (even though I totally am)
