Induction

Just got back from my ultrasound and doctor appointment where I was told my baby is measuring 7lbs 4oz and I'm 35 weeks 1 day. My doctor already asked me if I want a c-section. I'm really kind of mad he even asked. I don't want that at all but he said he can't induce me until 39 weeks, but how does it make sense to know my baby will be too big (my son was 8lbs 14oz and had shoulder dystosha) and pretty much tell me oh we have to wait until 39 weeks but by then she'll be too big anyway and you'll end up getting a c-section rather than just induce me at 38 weeks or so? Instead he'd rather just assume I get a c-section. I'm just really upset right now. I really don't want that.
