What is wrong with me.

Question

I have a period but a very irregular one. I'll have one for very month like for three months. Then for the next two months no period. Not pregnant or nothing! It's crazy. Then it'll repeat itself all over. I have a regular length of a period. 5 days bleeding, and normal cramping and everything. Help me please.

Go to the doctor. You don't necessarily have to see a gynecologist to figure out if you have an issue. Your GP can refer you to a gyno if it ends up being necessary.

It could be nothing. I had extremely irregular periods and tons of weird symptoms. My GP was concerned about hormone imbalance, PCOS, endometriosis, tons of stuff, and I had nothing wrong with me. I was just irregular. I got birth control to regulate my periods and fix all my symptoms.

It could be something though. So I definitely recommend just getting in with your general practitioners.

I would go to an obgyn. It could be PCOS.

I have a friend who wasn't regular until she went on birth control. I never asked about the details, though. I would suggest talking with your OBGYN.
