Men going through miscarriage
Hi ladies
I wanted to raise a topic as I myself had experienced a miscarriage in August 2015.
We had to announce it to most of our friends and family as they already knew I was pregnant
Now my issue is, as soon as they knew I got immense support off family, friends and even my partners friends. They were constantly telling my fiancé to make sure I'm ok and that he looks after me, although I really appreciate the fact that they care it just really bothered me that out of all those people not one was showing him any support.. After our miscarriage was the first time I had ever seen him cry and it broke my heart that no one showed any remorse to him and I see it happen ALOT! My due date would've been this month and when I mentioned it to him he said he knows and started crying again.
I guess what I'm trying to say is
Men struggle with pregnancy and/or child loss too it's not just us women. I think men tend to hide it a lot better than us but that doesn't mean they don't need support and even just a shoulder to lean on. Sometimes they need a friend to talk to or even just to get their mind off it. I wish I seen men getting emotional support as much as us women do
