How long your HCG drop after removed tube??

I found out I got ectopic pregnancy and had surgery on last Saturday morning , I don't have any fellow up appointment with Dr until 22th. Today I took a hpt and it came out the line dark then before, it is not normal right?  I know HCG will stay in my system for a while, but today the result is darker then before I had surgery . The top one is a day before the surgery , the bottom one is today .
