Do you think a *Private business* should be allowed to deny service to someone?

I'm not trying to start anything but there out people with this mindset that a private business should have to liberty to pick and choose who to serve

I think you should be able to deny service to people for being rude or disruptive. But not for stupid or hateful reasons.

If someone has come in and is rowdy and are acting inappropriately and could be a threat to other's then yes absolutely. If it's just because someone is black or gay and the owner doesn't like it then no they shouldn't refuse to serve them, they should grow the fuck up 😁✌🏼️

There's a huge difference between turning away people for being gay or Muslim and turning away someone for being drunk or disruptive or rude. You have every right for turning away people for not wearing shoes.

Absolutely. Is it the kindest thing to do? Maybe not. But if we deny people their basic rights to chose whom to serve based on their personal religion, we've got bigger problems than just a store denying service to someone.

It depends on the situation. I am a massage therapist and before I was pregnant I had my own business, sometimes I would get potential clients calling me and I would have a weird feeling about them or they put up too many red flags that they want something more than a massage. In those cases I turn them away, do not answer when they call, nothing. It's a business open to anyone but if I feel like I am not safe or may be put in a situation that I am not comfortable I will refuse people my business.

If they are causing problems and being ruthless, yes. Not for reasons like discrimination. But then again, it IS their business, but I don't think it's right.

Absolutely not. Recently, people use their rights to discriminate against homosexuals and anyone who isn't straight, but what are the possibilities if discrimination is suddenly allowed by the law? It'll spread! Racists are allowed to deny service to other races because it's against their religion, sexists are allowed to deny service to the opposite gender because of their beliefs... It's just too risky to allow ANYONE to discriminate, and it's also incredibly immoral. Why can't people just be happy they're getting some money and hush up about their religion?
