My husband is in the Marine Corps, so we live half way across the country from our home town where all our family and friends live. I won't be home any other time before the baby is born, except for my best friend's wedding in July. She's super laid back and doubtful she would mind, but would it be wrong for me to have a baby shower so close to her wedding? I would either fly a week earlier to have it or stay a week late and she would likely miss the shower. Also I am due Oct 3rd and because of the situation I don't think it's that odd to have a shower that early. Thoughts?
