Preeclampsia??

Question

Anyone can share their experience with having preeclampsia? This is my first pregnancy  and I am carrying really small. Anything would put my mind at ease. Food wise, health, what to expect...

I was at work and a few hours into my shift I started losing sight in one of my eyes. I went to an office to sit for a bit to see if it would go away. I also had an extremely bad headache that I had for about 2 days straight at this point. As I was sitting there drinking some water I all of a sudden felt light headed and couldn’t form sentences or figure out how to use my phone. I felt like blubber. I started freaking out because I knew something was seriously wrong. I finally got ahold of my husband who called my doctors and they told me to go to the hospital. So he picked me up and took me and I was admitted. My blood pressure sky rocketed (it was always perfect before) and told me that I had preeclampsia and that if I had waited any longer to go in I could’ve died. They induced me right away but I ended up needing to have a c section because it wasn’t healthy for me or baby with the preeclampsia so I had her literally an hour later. It was a crazy experience and it all happened so fast. This was at 36 weeks and she was only 4 lbs.

I got it around 35 weeks pregnant and had to have a C-Section at 36 weeks.

I was just diagnosed with preeclampsia and I’m about 33 weeks! I’m honestly so upset because I’m missing my baby showers and I won’t get to open any of the presents myself. I know I’m just ranting but do try to rest and stay calm. Getting stressed will only make it worse. So just try to do what they say and keep off those feets!
