Has anyone else experienced bleeding in their pregnancy?
I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant with my third child. I have a 6 year old and a 5 year old. My other two pregnancies were great. Never really had any problems. I know every pregnancy is different, but dang. I started bleeding around 13 weeks. I was actually at a doctors appointment when I first noticed it. I was going to give a pee sample and noticed it. Luckily I was already at an appointment, so they were able to check my cervix. My doctor said my cervix was fine and still closed. She said it didn't look like the bleeding was coming from my cervix. I was also able to get an ultrasound. They said that everything in the ultrasound looked fine. I had already had a Pap smear and other tests done with this pregnancy and everything came back fine. My doctor basically sent me home, said she had no idea why I was bleeding, and told me to call them if the bleeding got worse and was accompanied with cramping. The bleeding stopped the next day. A week later, it started back up again. Was a little heavier than last time and lasted about three days. Since then, it has happened every single week. Lasts about one to two days. I usually don't need much more than a liner. When I wipe, there is toilet paper full. Sometimes it's bright red, sometimes it's a brownish color. Of course, it freaks me and my husband out! I have a Doppler and I check my lil girls heartbeat every time I bleed, I'm always able to find it. But part of me is not able to get over it and stop freaking out about it. I'm sorry this is kind of long. Just a worried mama. Does anyone on here have any kind of experience similar to this? If so, has everything been fine with your pregnancy? Thank you guys! 💖👶🍼💝
