Can I maim a family member?

So I'm not pregnant yet, our whole family thinks that we are not able to have children, (I underwent a minor surgery to fix that,  so we are ttc.)

And I mentioned to my SIL that if we were able to have kids I wouldn't be able to have a vaginal birth.

She (being the recent mother of one, 2 weeks old) said, and I quote the message,

"If you have a C-section no one should even show up. It's not like you did any work so you don't deserve a celebration."

Can I maim her? Please?

Seriously. Tell her to shut her ass! My sister had a c section and her recovery was extremely hard. 
You carried a whole human! And u delivered a human. You're just as much as a hero as a mom who had vaginal birth. Mothers are heroes ! No matter how they got u out

As someone who is looking to get a TAC so i won't potentially loose anymore babies at 20+ weeks.. I think she is dead wrong... You carried that baby for 9 months.. The last 48 hours is the easiest regardless of birth method... I would invite everyone but her..  Then explain that she didnt think it was work so i didn't want to bother her... I think she's just jealous... My cousin was jealous when we announced our oregnsncy at the end of hers because she wanted her daughter to "be the youngest for the first few years "..  When we were ttc long before they even concieved... My son will be the only 'local ' great grand baby and my grandmother is thrilled... Cousin not so much...

I've had both first cesarean and second vbac and while the actual natural was more painful duh lol the healing bit is no joke when you give birth vaginally when it's done it's done short of some bleeding that you need a pad for. With the insicion there is no stairs no vacuuming forget about driving more painkillers antibiotics I would go vaginally over the other any day let her know she got the easier deal by far she has no idea and sounds ignorant saying so but that is just my opinion as a woman who has experienced both. When you have a c section it's classified as a major surgery which you could die during. Then afterwards it's extremely painful and you can barely move, cough, sneeze or anything with out having excruciating pain. Tell her to fuck off.

She is mean, you have the right to celebrate the birth of your child even if you have a surrogate mother! Ignore her she doesn't deserve to be at the celebration!
