Evening primrose oil???

Anybody used evening primrose oil to help soften cervix and help dilate?? Did it work?

I used those with my last pregnancy but didnt take them by mouth (if you know what i mean lol) but that day i sat pretty much all day and night indian style on my floor catching up on prison break episodes on netflix, guess i was having contractions but didnt know because my period feels the same way, any ways 2 in the morning i watched the last episode and went to go to bed, felt 2 trickles thinking i peed my self lol so woke up my sister she said are you sure you didnt pee so i said no i just went to the bathroom and just then my water full on breaks all over the floor, yup i was in labor. Not sure if the primrose worked or sitting on the floor as my daughter wasnt engaged and i wasnt thinned out but i tried everything under the sun to get her out as i was a week before my due date and would have been induced

I've been taking it for a week at 36 weeks, and it's thinned my cervix out. I'm also drinking raspberry leaf tea to hopefully help with the dialation aspect, since that's what I had trouble with when I had my son. Today I'm headed in for a check; I will let you know if it helps.

I've been using it. It's not working. My cervix was already softening but it's not thinning out
