Any successful births? No cuts no tears?

Question

Any advice you can give to achieve this? My mum had 5 successful births this exact same way but all I ever read is cuts cuts cuts and tears tears tears and it's a little unnerving for a FTM! It would be great to hear some positive successful stories.

I've heard that tears are because the baby comes out too fast. You're not supposed to try and push it out in three heaves lol I was told to push a little, then relax. Push a little more, then relax. It lets your coochie stretch a bit more each time which makes you less likely to tear!

I had an epidural, my labor was 16 hours and i pushed for 2 hours. No tearing or cutting 😊

My cousin had two babies with no tears and no epidural- her first birth was about 12 hours start to birth, second was about 7 hours. She didn't do anything extra or special but she did have midwives deliver both times (in the hospital). She's also really petite so I don't know how she got that lucky. Both me and my best friend tore, but we were both induced. She had a 14 hour labor and I had a 36 hr labor.

I didn't have any cuts or tears! My only issue was back labor, which was terrible pain. But I was induced, and I've heard that can cause back labor. Started the process at 8, waiting till 7cm dilated to get epidural because I had to lay on my side for my daughter to turn around, then pushed her out in three easy pushes at 3:30! So don't be scared... You may not tear :) but if you do, I've heard it happens during a contraction so you don't even notice. And as they stitch you up, your body is just overflowing with endorphins and you won't even notice that either

I've always heard inductions make you a lot more likely to tear.
