Glucose test outcome?!!

Question

Currently taking a 3 hr glucose test&i probably shouldn't of searched what gestational diabetes is but i did&now im scared. What was your result?&if you had gestational diabetes how did your pregnancy go? Pls help! Im currently 31 weeks last time i took a glucose test i was around 12 so idk if i do have it, how long ive had it

Not trying to scare you but this was my experience With my last pregnancy I failed both the 1 hour and 3 hour. So after that I had to check my sugar levels at least 3 times a day and if it was high I had to give myself insulin shots in the stomach I was also told I would have a big baby possibly over 10lbs. But I was induced at 39 weeks and my son only weighed right under 7lbs

I have GD and I was so scared when I found out but it's really not that bad. I test my BS every 4 hours and watch what I eat. No more then 40g of carbs per meal. Lots of cheese, nuts, and meats. No soda, only water. It sucks having cravings and not being able to eat the good stuff but its only for a short time. Good luck hun! If I can answer any other questions feel free to ask!

I had to do thev3hr at 17 weeks cause I failed 1 hr early but I passed it. I will have to redo the 3 hr at 26-28 weeks and am just going to watch my sugar intake now. I'm not sure what you have to do if you fail it but I know it's really important to take care of for the baby. Good luck

My mom had it with myself and my 2 brothers.  She was able to manage it with her diet.. I'm currently sitting at my 3-hour test praying that I don't have it. I also read up on it in my time waiting in the lobby lol.

He was born perfect no problems what so ever. I am now13 weeks and I go next week to get checked to see if I have it this time around 😩

I had it with 3 babies and now they told me a few days ago I have type 2 and it's not gestational....
