So my husband and I had planned on doing some home reno before the babg came, we can afford it all, but with me not working for a few months, things would have been right. My mother in law graciously have my husband a very large check, which we were both stunned by and very grateful for. But since then she has been kind of rude to me. When I was trying to get her advice about baby shower things she interrupted me numerous times and told me she didn't like where we're having it. She's also said she doesn't like the name we've chosen and doesn't like that we won't circumcise. So ok whatever, but this has been over a week and I'm still bothered by it. If it's bc of the money I just want to give it back to her, I don't want to feel endebted to someone or compromise my own feelings and opinions bc I don't want her to think I'm ungrateful.  I sent the baby shower invite out on Facebook, bc it's a big group and a casual get together, she's seen the invite and hasn't responded. Just needed to get that off my chest. I hate passive aggressive people, but I don't know how to deal with her.
