How come u can't read a preg test after the allotted time frame?

I have been taking preg tests for almost two years with all BFNs. Never have I looked after the time frame and saw a line Appear. Have any of u??

Evaporation lines can appear after the allotted time frame which is why they say not to look at a negative test after x-amount of time (usually 10 minutes.) Many women have had an evap line appear and read the test late, thinking they are pregnant when they in fact weren't at all. It doesn't always happen, but it can, so they advise not to read negative tests after a certain amount of time to avoid the disappointment and confusion that can be caused by an evap line.
I've had friends read a test tests hours later and confuse evap lines for positives (more common with blue-dye tests) when they weren't actually pregnant so it does happen.

Happened to me with this pregnancy. It was negative after waiting for 3 minutes (time frame) and I came back to it a few minutes later and it was clearly positive. I took one more and it done the same thing.
