IUGR-Intrauterine Growth Restriction

Kate
Met with our genetic counselor and decided not to do the amniocentesis since it won't change the outcome of our baby.  She has severe IUGR and they are having us come back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound as well as ultrasounds every week after that until they see if she is growing and picking up any weight or take her out by c-section.  They told us to prepare for the possibility of a stillbirth because that does unfortunately happen with these babies.  And we just have to play the waiting game and go from here.  Her heart defect is there but minor and her still existing kidney looks good at least.  I'm nervous about all of this and really hoping things work out.
