Do they do anything different if you are ill and go into labor

Question

I have a bad cold that i caught from my hubby who has had it for over 3 weeks. Will they do anything differently i woud hate to give this to my baby

Have you been to your primary dr? Or your husband?  My husband and I have had colds the past week but he's had a really bad sore throat for 5 days -no fever- so I finally made him go to the express clinic and it turns out he has strep! I don't have a sore throat or fever tho so hoping i don't have it, or get it.

They kept me an extra day with my 3rd. Just to make sure all was well with us. and to give an extra day of rest before going home to my 1 and 2 yr olds.

Um yeah no they won't suggest a major surgery just because you're sick. I had a horrible sinus congestion with my first and basically had to suck it up. You'll be fine and so will baby. Some mess can even dry your milk up.

I'm not sure, but I'd imagine they'd give you a heavy dose of meds to help u get over it quicker and if you legit can not breathe, I'm sure a csection would be an option they'd ask you to consider. Just remember if u can't breathe, neither can your baby
