Detectable hcg and ovulation???

So I miscarried four weeks ago and am still getting positive $.88 Walmart hpts. The bleeding stopped about a week-a week and a half ago and today I have TONS of ewcm and single side cramping. This is how ovulation normally feels for me. Is it possible to ovulate with hcg still detectable???

My dr told me that you can still ovulate with hcg in your system. She said that hcg isn't what keeps your body from ovulating, it's other hormones. Idk, I see so many Dr's telling their patients different things. I was told that I would ovulate 2 weeks after my d&c and that I should expect my period 2-3 weeks after that.

Same thing happened to me, totally thought I was ovulating... I think it's just part of your body trying to get back to normal. I miscarried just over 5 weeks ago and was getting faintly positive tests until yesterday I finally had a negative one. I had blood drawn several times to determine that hcg was in fact dropping. Just started my period today. Everyone is different but it usually just takes time for your body to get back on track.

You can ovulate once your hcg gets down to 25. I was told this by a PA at my doctor's office!
