Has anybody had an ob who measured your baby and your baby was bigger than he was supposed to be?

I'm currently 29 weeks and they were measuring him to be 31 weeks. Does that mean he is 31 weeks or just a big baby?

With both pregnancies before this but not now. Turns out they were wrong. Even with the ultrasound measurements. They told me both my babies were gonna be big. Nope, first was 5lbs 11oz second was 7lbs 7 oz.  This baby is measuring right on time.

Measurements are faulty. Just means baby was in a different position that day. Trust me, next time he'll likely measure "on time" or less or 1wk difference. Measurements arev more guesses than anything else.

I'm measuring 10 days ahead. Doctor said maybe a big baby. Baby's in the top 78 percentile for size as of now..

My partner and I went in for our bubs ultrasound at 10 weeks and she said oh you must be 11 weeks, went back for another scan at 20 weeks and it's changed again, bubs just growing bigger just like ours. Hope that helps.

It means you are measuring big, fundal height is a decent tool but it's certainly not 100% accurate.
