Sleeping on your back at 18 weeks??

Hi!  I was wondering if sleeping/laying on your back at 18 weeks or so is ok?  I have read some things saying to lay on your sides but was just curious as to what other mommas thought?

I am a back sleeper.  My perinatolgist and OB say that you don't have to lay all the way on your side.  You can put a pillow under your butt or side to tilt you slightly.  I am actually on hospital bed rest at and have been alternating sides with a pillow. A body or pregnancy pillow might be helpful, too.

I'm 31 weeks and still wake up on my back sometimes. I find once my body is uncomfortable, it wakes me up. Putting more pillows under my head and neck and sleeping in an "reclined" position has helped!

Same here I go to sleep on my left side and almost always wake on my back!

I wouldn't risk is because I've read in several articles you can cut of circulation of blood/oxygen going to your baby. It's definitely hard not to tho.
