Nightmares?

Question

Has anyone had nightmares about being pregnant? I had one last night for the first time in years. I dreamt I was at the hospital and there was something wrong with my baby's heart so they were going to insert some kind of fetus pacemaker. And then some crazy guy attacked me when my bf wasn't in the room and he pushed me on the ground and started slamming the legs of a stool into my stomach and screaming "THIS IS MY BABY" 
I woke up because it really hurt! And I woke up hungry, at about 4 am so I'm wondering if it was hunger pangs I was feeling. But still, it really freaked me out!
Any similar experiences? :( 
I love sleeping and really hope nightmares aren't another one of those weird 'pregnancy' side effects

Unfortunately vivid dreams are part of pregnancy. I've had very little GOOD dreams they've all just been varying degrees of bad. Alien invasion, terrible storms, my parents dying, and of course miscarriage which is ALWAYS worse and more real feeling than any others. I've read it's because I was having trouble sleeping. My SO snores, I was getting up to pee a lot, and general back ache/body aches that come with pregnancy and sleeping in his bed (I don't live with him). Once the second trimester came and I stopped having to pee as much (waking up maybe once to pee in the night) I started to sleep better and it happened less frequently. Though a couple days ago I had a really bad headache all night from crying and dreamt my baby refused to latch for feeding. Good luck! Some women have great sex dreams and stuff so maybe we will get our turn!:]

It's definitely a pregnancy side effect :/ I woke up from one about 20 minutes ago. I'm 37+5 right now, so I had a dream my husband left the room and they wouldn't let him back in because they had already started an emergency csection. When the baby was born, they realized he had some sort of eye condition. They told me he would be blind. I can only describe the way his eyes looked as 2 clear lightbulbs bulging out of his sockets with dum-dum lollipops inside the lightbulbs instead of pupils. It was the worst feeling in the world. I woke up with such an icky feeling, there was no way I was getting back to sleep

I feel like I should add that I watched Game of Thrones right before bed. I wonder if that had anything to do with it :/
