Am I crazy?

My daughter will be 4 months old at the end of April (New Years eve baby). I want a short age gap, and it took 7 months to get pregnant with her. I want to try for another baby already.  Am I crazy for starting to TTC this early? My husband says whevever I am ready, so is he. Does anyone else have a short age gap and have any advice?  Has anyone else been in my shoes?

I would definitely talk to your doctor! Short age gaps do well for some women but can be devastating for others.

My son turns 1 May 5 and our second is due July 29, so ours will be close. My husband and I have two other kids from other marriages and they are 10 and 8 so with the age gap with our soon to be one year old we wanted him to have some one to grow up with close in age like our others, I say as long as your doctor gives you the ok and both of you agree and are ready go for it, it took us bout 5-6 months of trying before we got our positive

That's not crazy at all, mama. If you and your man are ready, go for it! I myself wasn't ready to TTC again until my LO was closer to a year old, but everyone has their own level of comfort. :)

We want a short gap between our too. We talked to the dr and it took us a long time to get pregnant the first time, so we were concerned. Her advice was that usually if you had a hard time getting pregnant the first time, they recommend you try a little sooner than the normal recommended time because pregnancy can clear away endometriosis for a couple months and up to a year, as well as regulate your cycles. But they don't recommend trying to get pregnant again until you have had at least two periods

I think you should go ahead and do it now so that you still have that peak in fertility that comes after giving birth. That's what my hubby and I plan on doing. We want to pop them out asap lol. But that's just us 😊

Instead of ttc, just stay off the birth control n let nature take over. It's how we're at 29wks with our rainbow baby :-)

As long as you both agree and your doctor says you're good to try then do it. Also if you can mentally and financially raise two babies then I don't see a problem with it
