What do you pay at doctor visits?

Do you have to pay your co-pay at every visit? And what other costs are there at visits?

No co payments but I have to pay $280 a month for a prenatal care plan after what my insurance doesn't cover. That covers delivery and all. But not the hospital charges that's separate. I don't know what that will be?? I've discovered having a baby is very expensive...and I'm going in debt. But then I'm aggravated BC people can get Medicaid and have one for free.. :-/ Doesn't seem fair..

It depends they only charge me when I see a doctor, my co pay is 25 dollars. But I've been seeing a midwife my last couple months and it's been free. And whenever I have to go to the lab for blood or urine I pay 10 dollars

Obgyn appointments are covered 100%. Had to meet $400 deductible then medical services are 75% covered. Out of pocket max $2000 for year for me and $2000 for baby (while in hospital after delivery)...

We payed our doctor $150, but that's her fee for delivery. We don't pay anything for regular appointments and ultrasounds. Before confirming pregnancy it was $40 a visit.

I paid co-pay once at my very first appt and havent had to pay since then. I had to do a co-pay for my anatomy but thats because my OB didnt have the machine so I had to go to another place

I pay $210 a month but that's a monthly plan to pay for the entire pregnancy (what insurance doesn't cover) at my regular visits I pay nothing

My co-pay is $0 because my insurance covers pregnancy 100%. All I've had to pay is $2 for a DVD to put our ultrasounds on. We also did the progenity genetic testing & that could have been up to $100 out-of-pocket but we never got a bill, so it was also covered. 
My hospital stay will be 85% covered.

My best advice is to log on to your insurance's website and go through your coverage very thoroughly. You should find your pre-natal coverage on there.
