I have never heard of the public health department doing at home visits with nurses before when you have the medical card. Is this something that's optional or do I have to do it. It makes me feel a little uneasy having them come to my home.

It was offered when I had my first but i denied it.

I have medicaid, I never had anyone come in home for me. I didn't want the service. Ask, you can probably deny it.
