Pain on bottom of foot?

So for the past 3 or so days, I've been having a sharp pain on the bottom of my left foot (the heel only). Today, it's gotten to the point where I'm like hobbling around and I can't figure out what I did! Has anybody else experienced this, it seems really random

I had this same thing happen a couple of weeks ago and it was awful for about a week then slowly got better. No idea what it was, but I did find that stretching helped.

Sounds very much like plantar fasciitis. Does it hurt worse first thing in the morning or after you get up from resting a while?

I had the same thing along the side of my left foot. So bad to the point I couldn't walk on it. Did you recently get a new pair of shoes? I got new sneakers that had a serious arch in them and once I stopped wearing them the pain went away
