Sharp stomach pains!

I'll be 21 weeks tomorrow and I'm experiencing sharp stomach pains on the sides of my stomach from the groin almost up to my belly button. My uterus isn't contracting, it feels soft. This is my 3rd child (my youngest is 6) I don't remember round ligament pain hurting this bad! Is this normal?
