Ok Ladies: Uti's

Send help because I'm officially dying. I get a uti about once a month usually around my period. I think it's because my ph gets thrown off but now it's been like all the time, like this is the 2nd uti this month. I'm almost always on antibiotics and I simply can't deal with it any more. I'm in so much pain and discomfort I never feel normal or ok anymore. It makes me afraid to have sex with my boyfriend and I shower even after I pee if I'm home. Sounds extreme but I can't handle getting these like this. There's almost nothing I can do to avoid them. Please help does any body else experience this? Is there something wrong with my kidneys? This is driving me crazy
