Early period or something else?

Just looking for some opinions. Me and husband are ttc, I was due for a depo shot February 5th but did not get it. I have since been having a period every 20-25 days. But after cd16 I started bleeding and don't know if it was an early period or what. Don't like to get personal but the night before bad was rougher than usual. The bleeding only lasted 2 days so starting to think it may not have been my period. Any opinions or advice is appreciated. Thank you.
