Is it possible to lose weight instead of gaining weight while pregnant? Everyone says I look so much skinner now while pregnant then I did before I was pregnant. Don't get me wrong my baby is doing great and is weighing perfectly but I just don't get it.

Totally possible, I've lost 12 pounds so far and I'm 30 weeks. No morning sickness or anything, just can't gain it.

My mum lost 4 stone when pregnant with me, she did it intentionally but her GP told her that she was loosing it easier because she was pregnant (seems the wrong way round doesn't it!)

Yes.  A lot of women lose weight during the 1st trimester. Mostly due to lack of appetite and/ or morning sickness.

I lost over 20lbs when I became pregnant and never got back up to my pre pregnancy weight. However, I had hyperemesis gravidarum and was vomiting sometimes 30x a day.
