Registry Advice

First time Mom here: I created my account for Target online and I started browsing the website and I was immediately overwhelmed with what to put on my registry. There was 97 pages of pacifiers lmao!!! Any advice on the do's and don't of creating a registry? My baby shower isn't until August, so I have plenty of time to create it... Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!!!
