Lmfao so I call my OB office to ask a question and get told I'm over 21 weeks if I have questions or concerns go to the nearest labour and delivery ... Or wait till my doctors appointment next week Lmfao what ? I thought I had a doctor for a reason..? Mind boggled right now lmfao really ?

Either my Dr or the nurse practitioner (whichever I see at the time) both tell me at EVERY appointment if I EVER have ANY questions or concerns to call them immediately to address the issue, no matter how small it may be.

That's absurd I'm on a first name basis with whole obgyn office from the number of times I call I actually apologized in advance I go this is my first pregnancy you'll be hearing from me alot lol I'm 36 weeks I bet they all can't wait til I deliver lol

Definitely talk to the dr abt the staff. My doctor has a whole new staff this pregnancy and it's great his old staff would refuse to make appointments, constantly advise to go to the ER etc

I used to have an OB and they were sooo like this.. Drove me nuts. I'm really happy I switched to a midwife - she's amazing, and I can just text her my questions 🙃

My Drs office gets so annoyed with me and it's so frustrating. I never feel comfortable calling and that's the attitude I get every time too. I feel you- it sucks

My OB has an entire nurse line dedicated to just this. They WANT you to call them first otherwise labor and delivery would be clogged up all day with everyone and their questions while also trying to deliver babies. That's absurd and I would definitely talk to the office manager about whoever you talked to and about their policies.
