ANIMALS acting strange.

So i have a cat who is 4 years old. He never use to be a lap kitty. Im 2014 while i was pregnate he got agressive towayrds me. Especially when i was in labor and didnt know. I want to pet him and he hissed ans swatted at me then ran away. So fast foward my son was born and the cat hated me still. He started sitting on my hubbies lap when our son was 6 months and has made hubbies lap his spot.

Now i am pregnant again. This time my cat that never once in 4 years wanted to sit on my lap, is now on my lap. Everytime i sit anywere he comes running over all puring and meowing all cute. And parked his butt on my lap till i get up.

Anyway long story short any one eles have pets that acted differt while they were pregant? And did they act differently when pregnant with different gernders? ( idk if that made sence)
