Applying for WIC?

Hey ladies I'm a FTM I have never applied for any government help before but I want to apply for WIC I just want to know what do they ask and what paperwork do I need to bring. I'm in CA by the way.

I just walked into the WIC office and said I would like to apply. He asked for my ID, and a few other items, I don't remember. Then had me fill out a piece of paper which asked me like how far along I am, who's my Dr, and basic health questions. Then I got approved for WIC that day and could go buy stuff and before I left they had me sit with the WIC counselor just to explain WIC to me and to see if I had any questions.

Find an office around your area, bring your pregnancy confirmation from your doctor, ID, SSC, and a paper saying how much you make, if you don't work I forgot what you do but they'll explain everything to you there. Make sure you have time it should take about an hour to an hour and a half.

How far are you ? And have you had any appointments with the dr ? Maybe it's different but they automatically sent me from the clinic to the wic office at my first or second appointment

Most times u have to make an appointment! If u give me ur zip code I can give u the closest WIC office near u...... U will need proof of income, proof of pregnancy, insurance card, social security card, nd ur state ID or drivers license

They should tell you on the phone when you make your first appointment. You'll definitely need proof of pregnancy though so like a letter from your doctor saying your pregnant. And your ID. That's all I remember
