Sex in a week for the first time?!!

I'm having sex with my boyfriend in a week after my prom (may 13) for the first time and my period is due around may 16.  Will I get pregnant? We are using condoms and he is buying me the plan b pill just in case but I'm scared Bc eve says I'm not fertile so that means I can't get pregnant right? Please help

Omg thank you both for being so responsible. Hopefully the night goes as planned but I wanted to throw it out there NOT to force it. If things don't play out right WAIT until the time IS right. It'll be so much better of an experience. Just sayin.

You're not likely at all to get pregnant while using a condom and while I don't see any harm in using Plan B the next day, it's probably unnecessary. Do whatever will make you feel comfortable.

As long as you know when you ovulate you should be good. My ovulation days are crazy tho. I have gotten pregnant while on my period twice. I don't ovulate on day 13 or 14 like most people. So you never know what could happen! I would definitely take precautions tho because you never know!

I think you should make sure to see a gynecologist so you can have some questions answered and make sure everything with your body is healthy. She can give you advice on how to stay safe and other forms of birth control and sti protection

DONT take the plan b if the condom doesnt break or anything. Its for emergencys, not for "just to be safe". A condom alone is effective when it doesnt break. Do the condom water test after sex too. And make sure plenty forplay and go slow. 😜 if you decide to continuw being active i suggest birth control.

It is possible to get pregnant anytime during the month. Make sure he uses a condom and that he knows how to use it. Also one other thing- don't be afraid to stop him. If you guys are there and things are about to happen and you start to change your mind that's okay. Trust me.

A condom used properly should cover it. But I suggest you wait if you are unsure or don't feel ready. I wish I would have waited until marriage actually. Being that you are a virgin I will tell you what I wish someone had told me: it might hurt like hell and not be exactly what you imagined, (for me it hurt like hell the first time and I didn't like it until around the 20th time with my boyfriend). Also, it creates a strong bond with who you give your virginity too so also consider the emotional consequences if that relationship doesn't work out. It is a good sign that you are reaching out for advice and are trying to be responsible about it. Just make sure you consider the emotional stuff too.

I would just like to point out, that you can still get pregnant if the condom is not put on correctly or if it slips off.. It's not just tearing that you have to watch out for.

Still take precaution, but you most likely would not conceive 3 days before your period. Usually a woman's period starts 2 weeks after she ovulates.
