Birth at 36 weeks 4 days and going through failed induction.

Kiley
I went into my doctors Tuesday 5/3 and had been having blood pressure issues for about 3 weeks with them progressively worse. I found out that day they were inducing me and sent me directly to the hospital. They started me on oral medication and gave me 4 doses of it that night. Contractions started but we're light. Wednesday they started me on low level pitocin and gradually increased. Contractions came more frequently and were more intense. By Wednesday night I'd gone from closed to 2 cm. They gave me a break from meds to rest up that night and go at it aggressively Thursday morning. They woke me up at 6 am starting pitocin. At 8 am I was 3 cm and they broke my water. Through out the day gave me pitocin until I was at my max dosage per hour. Contractions were every 1-4 minutes apart and pretty intense. At 9 pm I was checked and was still only at 3 cm. The doctor said if no progression was made in 1 hour she'd suggest c section. 10:30 she came back and I was still only at 3 so by 11 I was in the OR and our daughter was born at 11:19 pm. Shes in the NICU for breathing difficulties and they aren't sure how long she may be there. I knew it was a possibility but knowing I'll be going home without her is hitting me really hard. I know she's sage and in good hands but it's still difficult.
