There once was a girl who was 21. She loved a guy and they had lots of fun. Many would say he was the life of the party and in her eyes the captor of her body. He wasnt perfect and neither was she but her love so strong she let it be. He cheated and cheated and she never knew. Two years later her heart bled through. Leaving class looking at emailed results... HSV POSITIVE! A senior in college with no one to talk to,no one to confide in but the Lord above. I put too much trust in someone and allowed them to harm me in an irreversible way. Every year I would take an annual test and the virus had never shown in my system. I discovered that he cheated and when I went to him with the results his response was peculiar ...I knew that he knew though he denied. Now it's 2016 and I'm just starting to cope with it. Never thought I'd online date but there I am. Never thought I'd catch an STD,here it lives. Everyday I live life with no regrets and at the end of the day I cannot blame anyone for my situation but myself. Even though had I still used protection I could have contracted herpes from touching my ex's infected parts whether it was orally through his lips or penis or several other body parts. Its hard sometimes having to blow people off because I would never give the virus to someone but I know that love will find me and we will be happy. I have eve to track my cycle but I like to help women and girls who have challenges and questions regarding sex,men and basic obstacles of life that they may face. Some may say she's a whore,or she's nasty but truth of the matter is that I am a college educated young professional, with a pretty face, big heart and dreams that wont let anyone get in the way of what I am destined for. Be safe ladies, make me take tests even if youve known him for years and are madly in love because not everyone can cope with the results if having herpes.
