Thank you to the ladies with the terrible c-section stories!

Jeanie
A huge shout out and thank you to all of the women who made me terrified of ever having a c-section through your negative posts and some very legitimate scary stories. I delivered my May 22 due date boy via emergency c-section on May 4, I had the surgery scheduled for May 18 but life had other plans. I'm now 3 days post emergency op and it was an incredible experience! I haven't taken any pain pills since leaving the hospital yesterday and only took them because I thought I was avoiding pain. I got skin to skin while they were still closing me up and the worst part of the past 4 days was getting the anesthesia! I read the first poop was going to make me feel like I was dying and it was more comfortable than my last few weeks of pregnancy poops! The only problem I've had is I'm a side sleeper and it's completely not comfy to be on my side with the stitches. To anyone else having a c-section, GOOD LUCK! They're not nearly as bad as some ladies make them seem but we have to thank those who have scared us for we know we are the strong ones!!! So in love with my c-section baby 💙💙💙
