What goes in the Diaper Bag???

Question

FTM here. I just realized I'm not sure what all I need to put in the diaper bag. Obviously diapers and wipes, formula, pacifers and extra clothes. But what else??

Hand sanitizer, plastic baggies for dirty diapers, a changing pad, toys, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, baby powder, diaper cream.

Aside from "the usual" diapers, wipes, clothes etc I keep a small thermometer and a sanitizing spray. I also keep a little pack of snacks for myself in case an appointment runs late or something comes up and I have an extra phone charger that stays in the bag along with feminine products in case of emergencies because I don't usually carry my purse when I have the bag. I keep a "backup" $20 and a copy of the insurance card in there too in case I forget to shove my wallet in there.

I would bring Kleenex in case they sneeze and it goes flying about, a changing pad for the times there are blowouts in the car (or the changing tables in public bathrooms look icky), extra pair of clothes, and a few toys. When they get older start bringing some snacks with an extra water.
