Braxton hicks?

Can someone please try to describe what Braxton hicks feels like? My back is spasming and feels like someone is stabbing me in my ribs.

Well, that is not Braxton hicks. 
Braxton hicks contractions feel like your uterus is being squeezed, there's lots of tightening, your abdomen will get rock hard, and depending on how far along you are, they can cause some discomfort that makes you feel like you have to pee and can't breathe. Sometimes you can feel a tightening and maybe a dull achiness in your back too.

It's mild tightening of the stomach. Or at least that's how mine have been since 26wks. I'm 38wks 3days and they are becoming more intense and kind of painful hoping this baby comes soon!
