Why can't I eat a lot of ham while pregnant like the ham you buy at the store in the bag already.

Ive eaten ham, I just baked a ham and Ive eaten deli meat. I think if they could lock pregnant women up in bubbles they would lol they seem to forget that women have been having babies for hundreds of years lol

Deli products like that can contain listeria bacteria, but you can heat it up a bit and it's fine. (Also, the chances of listeria are small so my doctor told me if I'll really craving the cold meats I can indulge once in a while)

Ham is also loaded with salt.. which can raise blood pressure and in general not good for you. But also mentioned above about the deli meat and bacteria..
