Name stealing

Any momma's considering changing their baby's name because 3 close friends are using similar renditions of it?

We announced our Katherine in February.... And our friends had an Emma Kate last week, Mayze Kate is due this week, another Kate is due this summer.

We haven't decided yet on our Katherine's middle name and may be considering a new first name with Katherine as middle??? I do wish to call her Katherine mostly but if we shorten it we'll call her Kay or Kat I think.
