Yeast infection

Has anyone heard of a yeast infection being a sign of pregnancy , my period is due on the 16th . It's been a week it's not bad just itchy mostly I bought some stuff form walmart last week and it's Alot better Alot gone in fact . I read some lady's saying it could be a early sign of pregnancy. I've only had 3 my whole life and they usually cleared up with in a day or 2 or using some meds but this one seems to want to linger .
