Clomid messing up ovulation luteal phase

The background: I just finished a 2nd round of Clomid on Friday, went in for my sonogram check today before iui and trigger and the eggs weren't all that big...last Monday was day 4 and they were much bigger and were more follicles. So we followed up with bloodwork that was confirmed that I have ovulated already this past weekend. Hubby and I bd Friday and very early Saturday so def of the blue and more relaxed lol bc we thought we had more time for o and didn't want to back him up too bad. Dr. Is hoping we got it in before o on estimate of Sat-Sun. AF was 6 days late this cycle and lasted for barely 3 days, so I guess I had a very short luteal phase? Ugh so frustrating. And not to mention I was on mucinex and antibiotics halfway thru last week due to a bad flu/sinus infection. Did Clomid ever shorten anyone else's luteal phase? I don't want it to ge messed up..we just got into the swing of this fertility process lol. FX it worked naturally!! ♡
