How long after stopping the pill did you get pregnant?

I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of this year, and my periods still haven't stabilised.  I've had a 35,28 and 38 day cycle.  I also have had bad cramping about 10 days before my period.  Just wondering what other people's experiences have been?

My periods were all over the place too (24days, 40 days-was so sure I was pregnant that month, wasn't. 14 days etc ) I started using ovulation tests since I was so irregular and learned I wasn't ovulating until 6 month after I got off the pill. Got pregnant the first month I got a positive ovulation test though. Good luck!

Talk to your doctor about when a safe time to get pregnant is after stopping your birth control.
I had the mirena IUD and when removed my doctor advised I wait at least three months before trying.

I was on birth control pills for over 12 years. I got pregnant the first month off the pill but ended up having a chemical pregnancy. I was devastated but Then I got pregnant the next month. I recommend waiting one cycle after stopping birth control so your lining has time to thicken because that's why I lost my first one. I'm 16 weeks now.
