Is there a point where doc will say "you should stop working"?

Or are there reasons or triggers why the doc would say that?

I'm starting to worry about my work situation and my boss not having a plan in place for when I'm gone. He'll probably call the day I'm at the hospital and ask me to fax files around. :p lol

My scheduled c-section hasn't been scheduled yet so I'm not quite sure what a natural last day will be. Just wondering how this kind of thing usually plays out.

ETA: I don't actually get maternity leave so no work always means no pay, but the job won't be held for me either so it's essentially leaving the job like quiting.
