What are your thoughts on naming a boy a Junior?

I'm personally not a fan of this tradition. 
I like the idea of finding a different name that has the same meaning though, or having the same middle name but giving a unique first name.

My boyfriend's name is Nick so a Nick Junior is completely off the table hahaha. I've never been a fan of juniors anyway.

My brother has the same name as my dad, but he's always gone by Junior. It fits him really well! People are always asking him what his real name is though, so maybe just name your son something then call him junior. That way he'll have an answer to their questions!

I believe it's whatever you and the father like! I was thinking about doing so with our child if it's a boy but we changed our minds because we found a name we like better :)
