Where will baby sleep?

Trying to get opinions and best practices on where you will have your baby sleep in the first few months home.

Bassinet in mons bedroom. Not willing to sleep with them bc of risk of smoothering and sids.

I think this deeply depends on the person. For my husband and I we are light sleepers and new borns like to make noises when sleeping. So I know we would not get any sleep in the baby was. Also, my husband and I tost and turn a lot at night and I'm known to talk in my sleep. So another reason our baby will sleep in own room even as a new born. I don't want to be the problem waking my newborn and I don't want him waking me.

Before people comment on this: yes I know babies cry and wake up a lot at night. But I want to get the most sleep I can and give the best sleep situation for my baby to have. And just let nature do its thing.

In a crib in my room for the first 6 months, probably.

My babe is 1 week old and he sleeps in this, Ingenuity Sleeper Deluxe and it is AMAZING!!! So portable and has a few more parts to add as he grows. He'll sleep here until we move him to the crib. Then we'll keep this in the living room for daytime naps.

In our room near the bed in a bassinet. I think initially it is SO important that the baby feels loved and close to mommy. Even if he/she has to sleep in my arms for the first few months I am okay with that. I want him/her to feel close to me. I mean, the baby WAS in my belly for 9 months, lol. What an adjustment for them!

My baby will be sleeping in their crib, in mommy a room.

Baby will,be in my room for the first month only because I'm horribly Wobbly if I try and walk when I first wake up. I'm awake but my legs take a min lol but my husband will only be off work for a month after baby is born so he will have to go to the crib once Dad goes back to work. He works 14+ hour shifts so... night time will basically all be on me
