Fun gender reveal ideas for Mom & Dad only?

So my husband and I just recently decided that we do want to find out the sex at the anatomy scan, rather than waiting until the birth. But because I always thought I'd want to wait until the birth, the idea of finding out in the doctor's office just doesn't really appeal to me. We are planning a small, low-key gender reveal for close friends and family, but I want to find out before then - privately, with just me and my husband - in a way that's more fun and personal than just finding out in the doctor's office. Did anyone else approach it this way? Any ideas?
